Your new company
You will be working for a large housing association as a Senior Finance Operations Manager on a fixed-term basis for 6 months. You will be required to be at their central Birmingham offices at least 3 days per week to support your team.
Your new role
As a Senior Finance Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership of the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Financial Systems teams; ensuring that they're delivering efficient and adaptive financial services that meet the needs of stakeholders and support the overall organisational strategy. You'll be the driving force behind the maintenance and improvement of strong financial compliance, robust financial controls and informed decision-making; working closely with the wider finance team and other organisational stakeholders to improve the use of analytics and embed key indicators to instil a culture of compliance, performance and excellence. You will be managing a team of circa 9.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You should have strong leadership skills and have managed a similar-sized team previously. You will have great technical knowledge of transactional finance and feel confident liaising with senior stakeholders.
