A Chester-based Accountancy firm is seeking experienced Payroll Manager to join their experienced team. This is a generalist firm that provides a range of accountancy, tax, payroll, and bookkeeping services to their clients. Your new role
As Payroll Manager, you will ensure the accurate and timely payroll production for various clients. You will manage your own client portfolio and you will be responsible for end to end payroll processing. You will manager one other member of staff, reviewing payrolls processed and assist with training and development too. Overall, you will service a range of clients and deliver excellent service to clients.
What you\'ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience within an accountancy practice and will ideally be CIPP qualified. You will need a strong knowledge of statutory and legislative regulations, including workplace pensions, and proven experience in MS Office, in particular Excel. You will also need excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to communicate with clients at all levels.
What you\'ll get in return
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £30,000 and £40,000 dependant on experience. You will have the option to have hybrid working pattern and work 2 days from home per week. This firm has free parking onsite. You will also avail of a competitive firm wide benefits package including holidays and pension contributions.
