Your new company
A fast-growing SME who have ambitious plans for 2024 and beyond seek to appoint a hands-on finance manager to support the FD with the day to day running of their busy finance function.
Your new role
You will ensure the integrity of the finance function is maintained in a timely and accurate manner by producing the monthly management reports, overseeing statutory obligations in line with FRS102, manage the payroll and ensure all taxes are accounting for on a routine basis. You will lead 1 junior team member to ensure they manage the financial ledgers and work on a range of ad-hoc duties which improves the efficiency of the finance function. You will support the FD with the preparation of the monthly board pack and be versatile to turn your hand to any additional requirements which come up in finance that require a hands-on approach.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (or soon to qualify) with strong hands on technical skills. You will be comfortable working within a small finance team where a can-do attitude is required to fulfil the role.
