Hays are delighted to partner with this Public Sector organisation based in the West Midlands, who are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Systems Manager to their team on a permanent basis.

Your new role
This role sits as part of the organisation's Operational Management/SLT with 2 direct reports. Some of the key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the enhancement and maintenance of the income management and ERP finance system.
  • Work closely with other teams across the organisation to understand the requirements of the business and convert them into system solutions.
  • Oversee multiple projects, ensuring objectives and deadlines are met.
  • Analyse large data sets, identifying areas of improvement, and recommending solutions.
  • Provide support and training to staff on the ERP system usage and best practices.
  • Lead in the planning and execution of any future transformation projects.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the position, you will:

  • Be a Qualified Accountant
  • Have proven experience in a similar role, working and developing financial systems
  • Have lead engagement with other departments and stakeholders to improve or maintain processes.
  • People management experience
