Job Details

Your new company
Your new company is a global insurance firm, founded in the 19th Century. They operate a hybrid work policy; three days a week you will be based at their beautiful offices in Central London, while two days a week you will be free to work from home. The companies' values include collaboration, growth and integrity, and they are committed to investing in their employees' capabilities and futures within their organisation.

Your new role
After a period of growth, the company is looking to expand its Accounts Receivable team, looking for an experienced Credit Controller. The role will focus on collecting overdue payments and establishing relationships with aged debtors. Other aspects of the role include:

  • Using the ECF collections system.
  • Liaising within the Credit Control team to establish best practice for collecting from aged debtors.
  • Query resolution from case handlers and external clients. Liaising with Billing team where necessary.
  • Using Elite 3E to make enquires about invoices.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will need a strong work ethic and be personally driven to answer queries and collect payments. You will be well organised and have the discipline to hit KPIs and collection targets. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working for an insurance company or financial services organisation and have a proven history of building relationships, displaying their ability to influence others to a positive outcome. This is not a debt collecting position, this is for an individual who develops a rapport, based on respect and mutual trust, with their customers and clients.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive an above market-rate salary, plus a 10% bonus (5% based on individual targets and 5% based on the targets of the team). The opportunity to work from home and the chance to be a part of a global insurance firm, that really takes a lot of pride in being viewed as a good place to work.
