Your new company
Our client is a Not-for-Profit organisation specialising in the housing sector. They are one of the UK's leaders for this space and are going through a time of ambitious growth with large projects in the pipeline. Meaning they have the opportunity to continue to expand their team.
Your new role
Reporting to the Development Finance Manager, you will ensure that the financial controls around development provide robust business assurance, support the development team to ensure schemes meet corporate governance, partner with management in providing key financial information and advice on partnership schemes with external parties, account for and reconcile schemes as developments progress through to completion. Monitor the production of management and statutory accounts, and assist in the production of annual budgets & quarterly forecasts.
What you'll need to succeed
As their new Finance Business Partner to succeed in this role, you will be an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant or part-qualified / QBE with strong business partnering experience and technical ability. You will be confident and credible to oversee the production of management accounts and have exceptional communication skills. You will ideally be coming from either a property or construction industry background.
What you'll get in return
This is a 12-month fixed term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent within their finance department (if that's what you would want). This role will be a hybrid with 3 days from home and 2 days from their Manchester office, along with a salary of $46,000 to £52,000.
