Job Details

You will be working for one of the area\'s most respected Chartered Accountancy Practices based in the Southampton office as they are looking to appoint an experienced Mixed Tax Specialist ideally with at least 2 years post qualification experience in this field.
You will be working within a team of staff, reporting to a Manager/Partner and will be responsible for your own portfolio of clients. There will be scope to get involved in other areas of tax as well, depending on your previous experience and aspirations, and ideally be happy to eventually be responsible for a portfolio that is 60% corporate to 40% personal tax work.
Ideally you will be part qualified or fully qualified ATT or CTA (or "qualified by experience") and will have the necessary experience to be able to hit the ground running. Ideally you will have experience of running your own portfolio and as this is a client facing role you will need to be a good people person. You will be liaising with HMRC, assisting junior staff and checking their work as required and will therefore need to have strong attention to detail. The firm is willing to train on the corporate side so long as the individual has plenty of personal tax experience and is keen/willing to learn.
