An international manufacturing group in Manchester.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of Financial Accounting duties. This will include the calculation and group invoices, maintaining intercompany sub ledgers for all European entities. Delivering monthly, quarterly and annual accounts for legal entities across Europe. The reconciliation of inter-company balances for legal entities across Europe. Recording of transfer pricing. The research and correction of group transactions where inventory has not been properly recorded or three-way billings exist. Assisting with other projects as and when required, including the purchase or sale of businesses and other corporate initiatives. Participating in the roll-out of customer incentive plans to the sales force, preparing supporting documentation. Calculating quarterly customer incentives and commission accruals on sales. Using SAP for rebates and commissions.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant or finalist, with strong financial accounting skills and previous exposure to large ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle. Previous experience in a Shared Service Centre or large corporate finance office would be an advantage. You will be able to start quickly and happy to commit to a 12 month FTC.
