Systems Accountant

A high-growth automotive business, part of a wider international group, this exciting and dynamic business is hiring a Systems Accountant to join their finance department.
Your new role
As the Systems Accountant, you will work closely with IT and other areas of the business to build and develop controlled finance processes. Key focus areas of your role will be process and policy documentation, collaborating with the IT system delivery team to clearly define finance business requirements and enhancing the existing SAP ERP system to meet reporting requirements. You will business partner with the Group FC and wider Finance department to ensure the system is meeting business needs.
What you'll need to succeed
This role is focused on the enhancement of the existing SAP system. Therefore, prior experience of implementing and using SAP in a medium to large business is essential. Experience of process, policy and business documentation is essential, as well as sound knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and core financial statements. Any experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be highly desirable.
