COO (Renewable Energy)

Your new company
A medium-sized, high growth UK & EMEA focused renewable energy business, looking to expand its asset portfolio across Solar and Battery Storage markets. The role would be a great first COO role for a professional with a significant amount of process management and operational change experience.
Your new role
As the COO, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, from strategy and planning to execution and delivery. You will work closely with the CEO and the board to set the direction and priorities of the organisation, and ensure that we have the resources, processes, and systems in place to deliver high-quality products and services to our customers. You will also manage and develop our talented and diverse team of employees, ensuring that they have the skills, motivation, and support they need to perform at their best.


What you'll need to succeed
We would be really keen to see profiles of professionals from consultancy backgrounds, where they have seen best practice in multiple areas. Other areas of experience and strength include:

• A proven track record of leading and growing successful organisations in the renewable energy sector or related fields
• A deep understanding of the market trends, opportunities, and challenges in the renewable energy industry
• A strong strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to translate vision into action
• A collaborative and inclusive leadership style, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with the ability to embrace change and drive transformation
