Hays are pleased to be partnered with a leading global business who are leaders in their industry. A huge, global employer, this is an exciting opportunity to join them on an interim basis where opportunity is vast in potential permanency at the end of your tenure.


Your new role
You'll be joining the organisation as a junior finance business partner/management accountant covering a period of maternity leave for a minimum of 12 months fixed term contract, however likely to be closer to 18 months.
The role is a hugely wide-ranging role, with the remit to produce high-level reporting whilst providing financial support to the operational teams in terms of the P&L, through added value financial analysis and valued input to the operational team.
With such a wide-ranging role, this is an opportunity to get involved in and develop a wide range of skillets and is well suited to a part-qualified accountant who is ambitious and hungry to develop. You'll be involved in the 'heavy lifting of the numbers' including analysis of accruals, prepayments (cost & revenue), whilst supporting operations teams in terms of data understanding. You'll also be involved in analysis of WIP and monitoring transactions, compiling budgets and quarterly forecasts.


What you'll need to succeed
You'll ideally be a part-qualified accountant, being substantially through studies, however applications from individuals who are QBE will also be considered.
You'll be a strong people-person with a strong skillset in management accounts and analysis. Appetite to 'get involved' and continue developing yourself is a highly attractive trait for this employer.

• Salary - up to £40,000 p/a

• Hybrid working available - 3 days from the office (although more initially will be required whilst training)
• Flexible start/finish times can be discussed dependant on individual circumstances
