Our client, a leading manufacturing business, based in Immingham, North-East Lincolnshire, is looking to recruit to the job of Financial Controller. The role will be site-based during the probationary period, but thereafter it will be hybrid-working.
Your new role
Responsible for three UK businesses and reporting to the CFO, your role will be broad-ranging and over-seeing the recording of all financial transaction activities. Areas of responsibility will include; statutory accounts, tax, budgeting and forecasting, Capex, payroll, international VAT, product costing and implementation of new IT systems and compliance. You will liaise with external auditors, HMRC, tax advisors, banks and other external customers/suppliers.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be professionally qualified (ACA, ICAS, ACMA, ACCA) with a broad understanding of financial and statutory reporting requirements, ideally exposure to SOX and strong IT skills. You must be a strong communicator and able to advise the executive management team on the financial implications of key business decisions.
