Working for one of Dorset\'s leading independent firms of accountants, your role as Audit Department Manager will be to support the Directors to develop and deliver Company strategy and being responsible for managing a portfolio of clients delivering the firm\'s audit services.
In addition to client service delivery, the role will also involve being focused on income targets, recoverability and the planning and co-ordinating of the client's commitments. You will also be responsible for the overall management of the team to co-ordinate, forecast and plan the workflow, as well as oversee training and offer support to the whole team.
To be successful in the role you will need to be ACCA/ACA qualified (or equivalent) with at least 5 years post qualification experience in a similar environment, with at least 2 years previous management experience. You will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong proficiency in IT and problem solving ability. You will be results driven, team orientated and have a high level of integrity and the ability to maintain client confidentiality.
