Your new company
A regional services organisation requires a new Group FC to own responsibility for the day to day financial management of the group finances.
Your new role
Reporting straight to the CFO, the Group FC will lead the finance team through an exciting change period for this complex and high-performing organisation.
You will be responsible for providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to the Board, Executive Teams and Senior Management, whilst ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements. You will work closely with the CFO to develop strategy, deputising as required.
An integral part of this opportunity will be establishing robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders. As well as your leadership responsibility for cyclical delivery of accounts, controls, consolidations and reporting, you will also leverage internal resources to plan and define development paths for your team through effective training and reviews.
Other responsibilities include: leading preparation of financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP or IFRS, lead the annual budgeting process, overseeing tax planning and audits and ensuring audit recommendations are addressed.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a commercial, adaptable and agile finance leader with a proven track record of leading a finance function within a complex group environment. With a multitude of key stakeholders from different business divisions, it will be imperative that you are an engaging, outgoing communicator with an adaptable delivery style. You will have designed and implemented zero-based budgeting processes. You will be a fully qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
What you'll get in return
Up to £105,000 pa doe, plus bonus etc.
