Your new company
Your new company is highly ambitious manufacturing & logistics business based in Oldham. After a recent acquisition, they now need to recruit an experienced Financial Controller to lead their finance function.
Your new role
In your new role as Financial Controller you will take full ownership of the finance function whilst leading a team of 2. You will produce both the Financial and Management Accounts whilst also producing financial and analytical reports for the Group. You will business partner with the management team, regularly sharing reports, analysis and insights to facilitate informed decision-making.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Finance Professional and have experience working within the manufacturing / logistics sector. You'll have a hands on approach to accounting and be willing to get stuck into the more junior task. You'll be experienced in both accounts preparation, business partnering and leadership. You will have strong financial reporting experience and be comfortable presenting at Group Level.
What you'll get in return
You'll receive a salary of up to £60,000 plus excellent benefits. You will report directly to the Finance Director of the Group. You will be given the autonomy to run the entity and not be micro-managed. This role is for an experience finance leader who is happy to work 5 days a week on site in Oldham.
