Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a leading and impressive Global Group to recruit a dynamic Finance Analyst based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. The role will focus on supporting the Group's intercompany processes from manual billing, balance agreements, reconciliations, and reporting, to fixed asset support, data/finance analysis, cost allocation journals and balance sheet reconciliations. This permanent finance position will also involve process improvement projects and supporting systems changes along with data/financial analysis. Your new role


Your key duties will involve intercompany billing processes, utilising strong MS excel skills to generate manual invoices, collate billing information and provide an output of high-quality invoices, you will develop a strong understanding of intercompany policies and reporting, reconcile billing accounts, and support the development of intercompany billing processes, and system improvements. You will populate the reporting system with intercompany balances, review/resolve differences in AR/AP by engaging with internal stakeholders, along with reviewing/allocating intercompany invoices. You will support the expense system process, be involved in fixed asset purchase and car leasing processes, along with working on finance journals for centralised costs, post budget journals, and provide cover for cash allocations/banking when required. You will be involved in process improvement projects, development of new processes and cost centre analysis, along with ad-hoc duties for senior financial management.


What you'll need to succeed


To be considered for this permanent Finance Analyst role, you will need experience within a similar position, enjoy working with MS excel and spreadsheets, be comfortable dealing with large amounts of data and interested in understanding existing processes to support process improvement. You will be AAT qualified, part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience, with strong communication skills to build internal/external relationships at all levels, experience managing workloads and meeting deadlines, along with being comfortable working with a fast-paced environment. You will be willing to learn with a pro-active and positive mind-set. Experience within large accounting/ERP systems and intercompany processes would be advantageous but not essential.


What you'll get in return


This permanent and fast-paced Finance Analyst role is offering a salary between £30,000 - £36,000 per annum (dependable on experience) with a study package (if applicable) based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
