Your new company
You will be joining the UK HQ of a growing consulting and services organisation. This key role will be part of the small finance team and working closely with the MD and CFO.
Your new role
Reporting to the CFO, you will be taking on a key role overseeing the delivery of financial reporting on a monthly basis as well as to provide commercial support to both the finance and operations teams. You'll ensure an excellent service is given in particular to the ops team to help them understand their budget. forecasts and the commercial teams direction of travel for the year. You'll highlight concerns and opportunities as well as support the delivery of internal projects covering systems, change and process. At year end you will play a key lead in delivering statutory accounts and audit. This is a broad role with plenty of scope for development both personally but also to help improve the way the business operates. Alongside the day to day activities, you'll lead and mentor a small team.
What you'll need to succeed
In addition to your professional accounting qualification, you should be a confident team player and be used to managing all aspects of finance as well as leadership. A fresh approach and confidence to present new ideas from your experience will be key for success.
