Project Accountant

Your new company
Your new company is a highly entrepreneurial private equity-backed business services SME based in Oldham. Due to recent growth, they now need a commercially focused Project Accountant to join their Group Finance Function.


Your new role
In your new role as Project Accountant, you'll be responsible for producing and presenting financial information to a number of senior Project Managers. You will manage spending throughout the portfolio. You will prepare and present key business change proposals to senior stakeholders along with presenting monthly financial performance against expected benefit cases. You will manage capex and provide insightful analysis to keep business partners.


What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this exciting role as Project Accountant you'll be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified and have experience working in a Project Accounting capacity. You will have excellent stakeholder management and have the ability to business partner with both finance and non-financial colleagues. You will have good technical accounting knowledge and have a keen focus on systems and process to drive efficiency.


What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £60,000 plus benefits and bonus along with a hybrid working model. You will work within the Group Structure of a highly ambitious and acquisitive PE based SME and gain career-shaping experience. You will report to a very impressive Group FP&A Manager who ambition is infectious.
