About the role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing end to end change programmes across functions, departments and enterprises - understanding the people impacts of the implementation of new technology, through to designIng and executing persona-based change strategies and plans across business readiness, engagement and communications, education and training and user adoption.
- Project Management - scoping and planning the development of the change components of project and programme plans, with a strong emphasis on interdependencies with other programme workstreams e.g. process design, technology, operating model, and system design.
- Change assessment and Change impacts - conducting interviews, delivering workshops and analysing organisation documents and data in the early phases of a programme to help develop a clear understanding of the previous and current change capability, successes, opportunities and risks.
- Development of change strategies - taking a lead role in designing, developing and managing the delivery, using real time data to iterate the approach, to implement. For example, using change readiness metrics to prioritise activity, and change engagement data to develop targeted communications for client staff, deliver face to face workshops, etc.
- Managing teams and building capability - ensuring performance objectives are set, capability build occurs and is monitored with regular feedback.
- Coaching and guiding our clients - effective knowledge transfer in change management design, development and delivery.
- Risk and Issue management - recognising key implementation challenges at the outset and preparing clients for the pragmatic delivery of the changes and new ways of working
- Governance - providing input into programme governance forums by way of producing reports and raising and managing people-related risks and issues.
- Change methodology - contributing to and improving the Workforce Change methodology with a 'digital first' and innovative mindset.
Essential
- Experience in a project / programme environment, delivering the full end to end change management lifecycle, applying and creating change management approaches, tools and methods, e.g. defining the vision and case for change, leadership alignment, behaviour and culture change, stakeholder engagement and communications, change impact assessments, change agent networks, training needs analysis, training design, development and delivery, train the trainer, role mapping, benefits realisation, defining and measuring business readiness metrics etc.
- Delivering technology enabled change on large scale, complex and global technology programmes e.g. ERP implementations / upgrade (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft 365.)
- Experience managing discrete change engagements, e.g. across single/multiple sites, functions and/or geographies.
- Experience in developing and facilitating workshops across all levels within an organisation.
- Ability to develop close working relationships both internally and externally.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient with Google and Microsoft suites.
- Flexible to travel on a regular basis.
Desirable
- Experience of working in large private and/or public sector clients.
- Further personal / industry qualifications such as project management, change management, ACA, CIMA, or MBA.
- Understanding of the use of data analytics and visualisation techniques.
- Experience working in professional services/consulting.
- Experience with process mapping.
- Financially literate with degree level education.
