Accounts Senior – Media, Film, Sport, Music & TV Clients

Are you an Accounts Senior or Senior Accountant, either fully ACA qualified or a finalist with no more than 2 exams remaining, looking to upgrade to a modern and entrepreneurial medium size accountancy practice based in an easily accessible location in Central Manchester? If so, this growing niche accountancy practice firm based in a prime location in Manchester is looking to recruit an ACA qualified Accounts Senior / Senior Accountant due to impressive growth over the last few years and winning new clients from major competitors. Your role will be varied and will include: reporting directly to Partner level, liaising directly with all clients and being the main point of contact, preparing statutory accounts from start to finish for Ltd companies (as well as preparing accounts for individuals), corporation tax returns and offering clients advise how to improve their business. You will also get the chance to work on other areas of accountancy such as VAT returns, management accounts and various reports, analysis and business management assignments. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a newly created role that will provide you with many growth opportunities in the future including the chance to be promoted to Manager level in a short space of time. No experience of the client base is necessary although a strong interest in working with Media, Entertainment, Sport, Creative, Music, Film & TV clients is essential as your client base will be in this area. The firm also offers hybrid working and allows staff to work two days a week from home as well as offering flexible working hours.

To be considered for this new role (October 2023) you will be a qualified ACA and currently working for a UK based practice firm with experience of the above duties, particularly preparing statutory accounts from start to finish. You will either be newly qualified or have some PQE or be a finalist with no more than 2 exams remaining. You will either be working for a small or medium sized firm and looking to step up to a larger firm or you will already be working for a large practice and are looking to work in a more friendly firm with a better work life balance and faster progression. You must now be looking to upgrade to an entrepreneurial and modern accountancy firm which is one of the main firms internationally that works with high profile Media, Entertainment, Creative, Sport, Music, Film & TV clients.
