Our client, a non-for-profit organisation, has an exciting role for a Billings and Credit Lead based at their Cheadle Offices.

Your new role
As the Billings and Credit Lead you will hold a vital role in ensuring the success of the organisation's billings and cash flow. Working within a small finance team, you will be responsible for managing and leading a billing team of 2, You will assist to organise, mentor and support your colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient team.
Process improvements and implementation will play a big factor in this role where you can really put your stamp on streamlining and developing a better functionality relating to the Billings and Collections process. If you enjoy process improvements and being involved in the transformation of processes, this could be the role for you!
In this varied role you will manage the Billings process, ensuring Billings are accurate and in a timely manner.
Credit control maintenance, collecting monies owned for services as per contracted time frame.
Allocation of cash to accounts
Process improvements within the Credit and Billing procedures
Query resolution
Work alongside the wider team
Regular production of reports and data
Managing the timely closure of month end including all management reporting requirements

What you'll need to succeed
Previous Billing and Credit experience
Supervisory/ management experience of leading/mentoring a team
AAT level 2 or above (or equivalent)
CiCM ideally, but not essential.
Adaptable with a desire to succeed
Confident and personable

Full Time 37.5 hours per week
27 days annual leave rising to 30 after 5 years service and 33 after 10 years, plus bank holidays.
