Group Financial Accountant

Your new company
With over 50 years in business and having built a client based of some of the world's most well known brands, this international business is now looking to recruit a Group Financial Accountant to join the team based here in Bristol.
Your new role
This is a key role in the Central Finance team assuming a wide range of financial accounting responsibilities, ensuring accurate reporting across the group. Key tasks will include:

• Support annual external audit
• Production of statutory accounts for a number of group subsidiaries
• Support the Group Financial Reporting manager
• Balance sheet and reconciliation ownership
• Take ownerships of intercompany processes
• Other ad hoc tasks associated with the central Finance Function

What you'll need to succeed
We are ideally looking for a newly qualified accountant but would also consider someone that is part qualified or close to finishing their exams. Ideally you will have some audit experience in a group setting or within larger international business. You should have strong technical skills and experience of working with an offshore shared service would be an advantage.
