Your new company
A leading FTSE - Listed Financial Services Group in Manchester, which is expanding rapidly and has plans to grow further across Europe, has created a new role in their Shared Service Centre function. The role will be responsible for leading their assets and leasing finance department.
Your new role

  • Work with Asset and Leasing to manage the financial aspects of fixed assets
  • Oversee the financial control of complex fixed assets, such as depreciation, impairment, and disposal
  • Lead a team of 5 to 8 people who are responsible for the process and finance systems related to fixed assets
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards IFRS 16 policies regarding fixed assets
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of fixed asset information to stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed
With a strong technical accounting and asset finance background, you are a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/MBA/MSc/QBE). Knowlegde of IFRS6 or IFRS 16. You have either worked in the Financial Services sector before or have experience in large and complex organisations.
