I'm working with a central Liverpool business that operates in the manufacturing sector. The company offers hybrid working and a great career path for newly qualified accountants looking to get broad experience in a fast moving commercial environment.


Your new role
As management accountant you will report to a talented Financial Controller who has been with the company for the past 10+ years. You will be part of a small team responsible for producing accurate and timely financial data to help decision-making.
You will be responsible for balance sheet controls and control of assets, stocks, accruals and prepayments as well as having oversight of receivables and payables.
You will prepare monthly management accounts ( P&L and Balance sheet) and will explain variances to budget
At year-end you will liaise with the auditors and help coordinate the audit process.


What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a qualified accountant who is keen to pursue a career in industry.
You will be working in a fast moving and expanding business so you should be prepared to have a broad remit and have the ambition to develop your skills.
If you have recently qualified in practice and are looking to make your first move to industry, this would be an ideal first move.
You should have strong Excel skills as part of your role will involve the analysis of high volumes of data.
