Finance Manager

Hays are working with a long-standing client to recruit a new Finance Manager, reporting into the Head of Finance. This client is going through a large transformation project and is a great opportunity for hands on, proactive Finance Manager to join a national charity reporting into the Head of Finance. A really exciting opportunity to join a business at a time when you are able to influence and affect change.
Your new role
Reporting into the Head of Finance and managing a small team, this role will play a key role in the running of the finance function:

• Act as a business partner to finance and non finance stakeholders
• Ensure the delivery of management accounts, providing commentary and comparisons to budget
• Annual budget preparation and financial reforcasting
• Cash flow forecasting
• External audit support as required by the head of finance
• Recruitment, development and succession planning of current and future teams allowing growth and development of people within the team.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a qualified accountant that is based in Bristol or the surrounding areas with 1 - 2 days per week required on site. You should have strong post qualified experience, with team management experience. You should be able to work in an environment that is currently undergoing change and transformation so flexibility to support that change is required. You should be a strategic thinker and be able to support the Head of Finance in a key role. If you had experience with Power BI that would be a bonus.
