Finance Manager

Your new company
You will be joining an exciting and innovative company within the financial services space, that is currently on a high growth trajectory. They provide a range of services to help insurance companies grow, and pride themselves on being flexible, data-driven and "best in class". Based out of brand-new offices by East Croydon station, as part of a multinational group, the company has a competitive, fast-paced atmosphere that will suit an ambitious, progressive applicant.


Your new role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports across each entity in the Group within the set deadlines in a controlled and efficient manner. You will manage the production of all Group Management and Statutory accounts ensuring that they are prepared accurately, ensuring compliance with the latest accounting standards. You will oversee all tax, regulatory and financial compliance matters, and manage the external audit with KPMG. You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, drive data insights in the company, and add your ideas for continuous improvement. The role will have direct oversight over a small finance team, though no management experience is required, and will be expected to be hands-on in the development of processes and the production of reports.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant, with first time passes, and two to three years experience PQE. You will have a practice or audit background, and experience within a multi-entity environment understanding different reporting standards including IFRS and US GAAP. You will have excellent written and spoken communication skills with stakeholders at all levels, and IT literacy including strong Microsoft Excel. You will bring strong analytical, research and reporting skills, and the ability to prioritise a varied workload. You will have a plan to reliably commute to East Croydon 5 days a week. An understanding of the insurance industry is beneficial but not essential.
