Job Details
We are expanding our Execution Managed Services capabilities to provide an expanded 'Compliance as a Service' offering to its financial services clients. This combines our regulatory expertise with leading technology solutions to create managed service capabilities which help Financial Services clients transform the way they identify, manage and monitor compliance risk.
PWC is building a suite of new compliance managed services to compliment existing capabilities, using a variety of client delivery models, tailored to a client's needs to address specific compliance transformation challenges and pain points.
This is a newly created role in a new team. We are looking to appoint an experienced technology professional to support the Compliance as a Service Leadership team to lead on the design and implementation of the technology solutions for 3 new compliance managed services.
The role will entail:
- Helping identify a preferred technology vendor for each CMS, working with Technology colleagues in PWC to agree a preferred supplier (or whether we have an in-house solution available)
- Leading the PWC technology vendor due diligence processes and the completing the required technology risk and funding approval processes
- Leading the technology interaction with the vendor technology leads to determine the PWC technology requirements
- Advising on the required technical systems infrastructure required to connect the vendor technology into each PWC client's technology infrastructure
- Managing the daily operation of the technology platforms and leading all technical interactions with the vendor
The role holder will also be encouraged to look more broadly at the use and adoption of regulatory compliance technologies by Financial Service clients, working with Regulatory Technology Associates, to identify new CMS opportunities leveraging new technologies and acting as a regulatory technology SME to advise clients on how to embrace the latest technology as part of their compliance transformation programmes.
Previous experience
- The ideal candidate will have worked in a regulatory technology deployment / operational role either within a financial services company performing a similar role selecting vendors and then deploying the technology, or within a technology vendor company in a client facing / system deployment type role.
- This is a new role, and apart from having practical experience of working with compliance type technologies and technical IT skills, the role holder will need to be hands-on, proactive and collaborative, comfortable working across multiple teams and stakeholders.
