Financial Reporting Accountant (Largely Remote)

Hays is delighted to be working with a leading global technology business in Cirencester. Our client is looking for a qualified Financial Accountant to join their finance team based with only 2 days per month required onsite in Cirencester.


Your new role
As the Financial Accountant, you will report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for:

• Preparing and reviewing the consolidated financial statements and reports for the group and its subsidiaries in accordance with IFRS and other relevant standards
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting requirements and deadlines
• Providing technical accounting advice and guidance to the business units and stakeholders on complex accounting issues

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• A practice background, preferably from a Big 4 or mid-tier firm
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and analytical approach to problem-solving
