Internal Auditor -ACA/ACCA

Your new company
An attractive company in the travel sector offer hybrid working (2 days a week in the office in Crawley) to a qualified financial auditor either from Practice or a Commercial Internal Audit background.


Your new role
Your role will focus on delivering the Internal Audit Schedule for the Group, including desk-based reviews and site visits focusing on financial controls.

You will interpret the findings and produce accurate and timely reports for different areas of the business.

You will identify areas of weakness and recommend areas of improvement in the financial controls as well as risk mitigating measures and cost savings.

You will write, communicate, implement and maintain Group accounting policies and deal with questions from around the business.

You will provide support in reviewing and improving financial statements.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent, with a background in Financial Auditing.
You will enjoy travelling and be happy travelling alone on Audit assignments. (approx 4 weeks a year overseas and a few shorter UK based trips)
You will have excellent people skills and enjoy working with a variety of stakeholders across the business.
You will have strong business partnering experience, working closely with the business to make improvements and advise on internal controls.

Salary £60-65000 plus benefits
Hybrid working 2 days a week in the office in Crawley for collaboration. (Monday and Wednesday)
25 days holiday rising to 28 days with service
