Your new company
This well-known Financial Services Group based in Manchester, with a track record of continued growth and success are going through a global transformation. They are currently embarking on their next chapter of their journey, resulting in a key appointment to support the transformation and change with a newly created role as Financial Controller for their product department.
Your new role
As Financial Controller (Product Reporting), you will lead a team of 40 through production of the group reporting, closing and then transferring a current ledger, whilst looking after multiple subsidiary accounts. You will report directly into the Head of Shared Service Centre while engaging with other senior stakeholders, internal and external. This is a high-profile position that will give the successful candidate an opportunity and licence to drive improvement and help streamline policies and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be suitably Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong background in technical accounting and knowledge of intricate group structures. You will have ideally worked within a Financial Services environment previously, although, the client has stated, having experience within large complex organisation with responsibility for multiple entities would also be considered.
