Your new company
Hays Senior Finance are working with this amazing business based in Telford to recruit a Management Accountant for them. This business has been running for over 100 years; something they pride themselves on, and they believe this is down to their ability to continuously evolve.
Your new role
Working in a small accounts team you will have the advantage of really being able to add value and become a core member of the team whilst also working in a business that is part of a multinational group.
The job of the Management Accountant will involve;
- Producing monthly management accounts including profit and loss and balance sheet
- Variance analysis
- Month end journals
- Providing support and analysis at year-end and when producing statutory accounts
- Balance sheet review and reconciliation on a monthly basis
- Assisting in the production and presentation of annual budgets
- Forecasting
- Assisting with the annual stock take
- Costing
- Margin analysis
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- VAT returns
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be either a part-qualified or qualified accountant. They will have previous experience of working in a similar role and will be able to produce accounts working to deadlines.
