Your new job will be based in the centre of Guildford in a key role to partner with the Leadership team. The business is well established with multiple sites across the UK.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be taking on a key role that encompasses business partnering, budget/forecast ownership and Team Management. Your main focus will be business partnering across all levels and providing value add analysis to the Leadership team, challenging business cases and spotting risks and opportunities. You'll own the budgeting and planning process ensuring achievable targets are set and hit. You'll mentor and lead a small team of commercial analysts and support their development to future leaders. As part of the central finance team, you'll also support process improvement, identifying areas for positive change.
What you'll need to succeed
In addition to your professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/equivalent), you should evidence a strong level of business partnering experience and be confident liaising with stakeholders up to Director level. You should be confident in presenting and challenging assumptions always striving for continuous improvement. System skills including high volume data analysis is essential alongside team management skills.
