A globally recognised travel and event management business with huge international growth plans are currently hiring a Head of Financial Reporting. With a friendly working culture and exciting opportunities in the wider business this is an excellent time to join the business.
Your new role
This is a vital role in the Finance department to build up the accounting function throughout all teams in the wider department. You will lead on all Financial Reporting including managing an ambitious team of Qualified Accountants. You will take ownership of the external audit process including quarterly reviews, prepare and review accounting papers for new transactions including acquisitions. This role will also give you exposure to own the reporting to a US based parent company and provide visibility of financial results across all global entities.
What you'll need to succeed
This role would be ideal for a Qualified Accountant with an ACCA or ACA (or equivalent candidate). As the role is responsible for managing a team you will have proven experience of direct line management and leadership. Experience in improving accounting processes, writing technical papers and memos and owning the audit process are essential. Any experience using Netsuite or other ERP systems would be an advantage.
