Your new company
You will be joining a well-established Higher Learning Facility based in Woking, who are recruiting for a new Finance Manager. This organisation is well known throughout the UK, with a culture based on rewarding high performance and working closely with multiple teams. You will be joining as a Finance Manager reporting directly to the Finance Director.




Your new role
As a Finance Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Finance Director with a small team reporting to you. You will also have access to the CF5O and will have the opportunity to work alongside them on ad hoc tasks.


You will be responsible for the budgeting, forecasting, preparing of monthly management accounts, year-end accounts, and variance analysis.


You will play a key role interacting with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues from all other departments. You will also be consulted for your insight on process improvement within the department.




What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need to have the ability to communicate financial information to all levels of the business, a track record of good team management, and the ability to partner with Senior Management. You will have great attention to detail, and the ability to provide insightful, timely, and informative financial and managerial information. It would be beneficial to have some experience within Education or elsewhere in the Public Sector.
