Financial Controller - Construction
Your new company
You will be working for a large UK construction company from their London office which operates a hybrid working model. They are frequently bidding for and taking on new developments, and looking to develop the finance team as they expand upon their operations even further.
Your new role
You will be a Financial Controller, reporting into the Finance Director, with key responsibilities including:
- Updating KPI reports and dashboards
- Managing annual budgets production and coordinating with ops teams
- Promote a business partnering approach business wide to drive funding efficiencies
- Managing all external reporting processes and liaise with external auditors
- Developing the internal control framework
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or international equivalent) fully qualified accountant with knowledge of IFRS frameworks. Previous experience of team management will be beneficial so that you are able to provide beneficial support and coaching to the wider accounting team. Excel skills of an intermediate level or above are preferable as well as an ability to aptly meet multiple deadlines. Prior experience of the construction, development, or facilities space is preferable.

This is an interim role offering a day rate up to £450 for an initial 6 month period.
