Your new company
Our client are in a transformation phase which has created the need for this newly created role.

Your new role
Reporting into the Head of Financial Controls, this role will deliver high-quality support to the financial control team across a multi-site location team including oversight of a robust controls framework, ongoing quality assessment of processes, driving process & system improvements and efficiencies as well as a focus on compliance with technical accounting papers.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant, probably trained in a larger accountancy practice. Previous experience of working in a similar Financial Control/Financial Reporting role is essential and although Financial Services experience is preferred, they are happy to consider someone from another complex FTSE listed business. Up to date knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS is essential, with detailed knowledge of IFRS 2 and 9 an advantage.
