Your New Firm has an international presence, they operate across multiple jurisdictions including Europe, Asia and the Middle East. They focus on private capital, this encompasses personal, family and businesses.

This firm is excellent for any business that has an international presence as they operate in over 150 jurisdictions, they are able to assemble a team from multiple different sectors and geographic locations quickly and effortlessly.


Your new role

As the Lead Financial Crime Compliance Advisor you will get the opportunity report directly into the Head of Risk and Compliance, when they are not present you will be able to undertake their responsibilities giving you the chance to lead the function on occasion.

You will be the main point of contact within the firm for any Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Sanction and Counter-Terrorist Financing queries, this will involve advising the internal Risk and Compliance Team and fee earning Lawyers.

The firm is currently going through multiple changes that make this role extremely interesting, they are restructuring the Risk and Compliance Team and as this role sits within senior management you will get the chance to influence these changes. The firm is also expanding international and you will get the opportunity to implement your own policies and procedures across multiple jurisdictions. This is a greenfield role but there is the opportunity for this position to develop into a Head of AML over the coming years.


What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive experience with AML, ABC and Sanctions.
• Experience in a Anti-Financial Crime Compliance role at a law firm.
• Exposure to the Solicitors Regulator Authority.
• Ability to develop and deliver training programmes.
