Deal Advisory Senior Consultant

Job purpose:

We are hiring a Deal Advisory Senior Consultant to work on a wide range of Transaction Services (TS) and Corporate Finance (CF) engagements, primarily in the provision of financial due diligence to corporate and private equity clients.

Your responsibilities:

Assist managers, senior managers and leadership in the execution of TS and CF engagements. This could include capital markets transactions, and assisting clients to buy or sell businesses (through due diligence projects, sell side mandates or valuations). Preparation of client pitches and formal proposal documentation Develop and maintain in-depth sector and service knowledge to assist in the preparation of various documentation for external consumption Ensure compliance with engagement and client take-on procedures Interpret data and perform analysis in order to gain an understanding of the drivers of the target business Manage and be responsible for your own workload within any given engagement. Review of own work, that of peers and junior team members. Build and maintain good working relationships with clients throughout engagements. ​

Candidate requirements:

Professional qualifications relevant to Advisory services in Finance, Accountancy or Valuations Relevant advisory service line experience is desirable but not essential Adaptability to unpredictable workloads and pressures Proven client relationship management and/or business development experience Logical approach to task management Analytical skills Report writing experience Strong interpersonal and team-working skills Self-motivation and ability to use own initiative Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programmes, particularly Excel and Powerpoint; Language requirements – strong spoken, listening and written English ​
