Your new company
Hays Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be supporting one of Norfolk's leading businesses who are experiencing further expansion across the group in sales and acquiring new businesses which has resulted in the acquisition team to recruit 2 new Finance Analysts - Senior £40,000 and an Assistant circa £32,000 depending on experience.

Your new role
In this newly created Finance Analyst job you will play a key role in preparing forecasts to support investment business cases as well as creating valuation models to include; investigating target opportunities, preparing analysis and explaining key financial trends. This will require you to use your strong commercial business skills to analyse the financial data of each proposed purchase / acquisition as well as reviewing due diligence reports for the Senior Leadership Team to enable the business to make decisions on the acquisition and how they can be integrated into the Group.

You will also present your reports to the Senior Leadership Team and support the transition team on ad-hoc projects etc.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be Qualified Accountant or Part-Qualified Accountant or at least AAT Qualified and looking to do further study. You do not need to have business acquisition experience as full training will be provided but the desire to use your analytical skills in analysing financial data and reviewing business cases to assist the business to grow is essential.

We expect you to be confident with Excel and have a solid understanding of financial & management accounting to be able to review financial statements, annual accounts and to analyse financial business plans.

What you'll get in return
The organisation offers a salary of circa £40,000, depending on experience, flexible hybrid working, the option to buy more holiday days, study support and other flexible benefits.
