Senior Accountant

FKGB Accounting Ltd are excited to be searching for a Senior Accountant role in the Manchester area predominantly working from home. The company has enjoyed fantastic growth internationally and are looking for the right candidates to join their Manchester team.

This position would suit a newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) who is looking to take the next step in their practice career. You would be working closely with the head of the Manchester team and wider members of the international group to create and prepare financial statements, tax returns, VAT work, and other general accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities;

• Working closely with the head of the Manchester team to complete your tasks in an efficient manner in line with tight reporting deadlines.
• Preparation of year-end accounts, quarterly VAT returns and other general accounting jobs.
• Providing technical accounting support for the wider international team.
• Communicating clearly to new and existing clients.

Key Skills Preferred;

• ACA/ACCA newly qualified accountant.
• Excellent technical knowledge of UK GAAP and current tax developments.
• Preferrable proficiency with Xero and QuickBooks.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communicator with a proactive attitude.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
