Job Details

We are delighted to be working with a high profile Ipswich-based employer in recruiting to the newly created role of Financial Controller. Reporting into the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for leading the finance function with 7 direct reports and a further 14 indirect.

You will lead the Management Accounting and Financial Accounting functions in addition to the AP, AR and Payroll teams. You will have broad and varied experience of leading an entire finance team. This role offers significant breadth in the role and you will be tasked in driving improvements in process following recommendations from their recent audit.

This organisation is keen to support agile and remote working and you will be in the office 3 days per week. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead and improve a finance team and will drive a development in controls and processes. The team prides itself on supporting a positive work / life balance. Scope and potential for an immediate start.
