Management Accountant - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract - Manufacturing Business - Blackburn


Your new company
Your new company are a world leading manufacturer in their field. They are now looking to recruit a management accountant on a 12 month fixed term contract

Your new role
You will be working closely with the Finance Director and Managing Director to ensure efficient management of all financial transactions, control system and ensures internal and external reporting. Other duties include -

• Produce monthly Management Accounts pack
• Full monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly Sales reconciliation
• Month end reporting into Group function
• Responsibility for AR and AP ledgers
• Overseeing Supplier payments
• Cashflow forecasting
• Journal postings including but not limited to, Payroll, Fixed Assets, Accruals, Prepayments.
• Maintain processes that deal with all financial transactions effectively and efficiently.
• Support the annual Audit process
• Liaise with tax authorities and advisors, banks & legal advisors.
• Co-ordinate annual budget, rolling forecast & any other financial plans.
• Manage the manufacturing cost plus model
• Ensure transparency of spending and that budgetary controls work effectively.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have strong team working ethic and good communication skills. Be proactive and forward thinking, with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage your own workload. Manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential. You will be QBE or have a qualification in CIMA, ACCA or ACA
