Financial Controller - Legal

Your new company
You will working for a London based law firm who are committed to delivering the highest quality of service to their clients across all sectors, largely operating in the individual wealth and real estate space. They operate a flexible hybrid working model with most of the finance team going in 2 to 3 days.

Your new role
You will be the Financial Controller, reporting into the Head of Finance, with key responsibilities including:

  • Manage and develop the financial reporting and control teams
  • Publish both statutory and management accounts
  • Produce models for new company initiatives to present to non-financial teams
  • Work with the systems team on ongoing delivery of IT solutions
  • WIP management

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with 3+ years of experience working in the legal sector in a similar role, working alongside fee earners. This position has a number of direct and indirect reports so demonstration of leadership skills in a prior role is needed. Experience managing the audit and an ability to be hands on from the start.

You will be working for a leading UK law firm in a senior role, contributing to the development of their technical reporting and strategic analysis alongside an impressive Head of Finance. This is a 12 month maternity cover, offering a salary from £80,000 to £100,000 depending on level of relevant experience.
