Financial Controller - 12 month FTC - Law Firm - £90,000 - £100,000 - London
Your new company
I am currently working with a leading law firm in London looking for a Financial Controller to lead the day to day operations of the finance function for a maternity cover. This is a forward thinking, dynamic firm that is constantly striving to improve and develop their ways of working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Your new role
This is a broad and varied role with key duties and responsibilities including:
- Management of the finance team of over 15 heads.
- Application of financial controls processes and compliance to Solicitors Accounts Rules.
- Preparation of annual budgets supporting budget holders
- Monthly management accounts review
- Supporting on profitability analysis and cashflow management
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant with proven experience in a senior finance role within the legal sector. You will need a good knowledge of partnership tax and solicitors accounts rules. You will need excellent communication skills and be capable of building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the firm.
