Your new company
This modern Top 10 firm is experiencing growth in its audit portfolio, winning assignments from the Big 4 and local competitors. They are looking for an assistant manger to join their team to assist the management of a portfolio and oversee the work of junior and senior auditors in the team. There is scope for progression to manager within 1 year and will be working on the more interesting and complex clients. Hybrid working and a modern working environment are available.
Your new role
You will:
- Be point of contact with the clients, regularly discussing progress, risk, solutions and ensuring expectations are met
- Assist training, mentoring and performance review of juniors
- Carry out audit work as part of the assignment
- Review work as needed
- Prepare draft accounts and audit reports, with identifications of risks and weaknesses which need improvement for manager review
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant, or equivalent, looking to progress their career. You maybe a newly qualified senior or have some post qualification experience looking to take the next step in your career.
