Finance Controller Job in Dorking, £70k pa

Your new company
You will be joining a growing company in Dorking, who are recruiting for a new Finance Controller. This organisation has a culture built around active growth and development, encouraging you to work your way up the company. You will be joining as a Finance Controller reporting directly to the Finance Director.


Your new role
As a Finance Controller, you will be reporting directly to the CFO with a small team of both qualified and non-qualified accountants reporting to you. You will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts, statutory accounts, internal controllers, budgets, and forecasts. You will also review and update financial processes and assist the Finance Director with any other ad hoc tasks.

You will play a key role interacting with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues from all other departments, and negotiating with commercial clients.


What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong experience within a Senior level Accounting function, with a good track record at a management level. You will be skilled in the production of timely, accurate, and informative financial and managerial information.

You will be partnering with Senior Management and challenging when appropriate. You will have a positive, team focussed attitude as you develop in the finance function.
