Top 20 Accounts Senior – Financial Services

Based in a niche team that works with high profile financial services / FCA regulated clients, your role will be mainly statutory accounts based but also include management accounts, Vat returns, corporation tax returns and other ad hoc duties and projects relating to the financial services industry. You will also have the chance to work closely with clients in setting up and implementing new software, new systems, new processes & controls and you will often act in an advisory capacity for clients. Examples of clients includes fund managers, brokers, insurance companies, investment advisors, corporate finance firms and many more. You will also be responsible for reviewing the work of junior staff and providing support and training / guidance to the juniors. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. The firm uses a variety of software packages including Xero, CCH and Sage.

To be considered for this new role due to growth (June 2023) you will be ACA qualified and working for a good quality practice firm, of any size. You must now be looking to be trained so that you can work with high profile, London and international financial services based businesses and learn all the rules and regulations associated with the industry so that you can become an expert business advisor in this rewarding sector. You must have experience of the above duties, particularly preparing statutory accounts from scratch as well as management accounts and reviewing the work of juniors. Experience of a wide range of software packages, including CCH, Sage and Xero, would also be an advantage. You must now be looking to upgrade to a large Top 20 practice based in a City location in Central London where you can continue with your accountancy career and be trained to work in a new niche sector which will open many doors for your future career.
