A modern firm of Chartered Accountants based in St Asaph, Denbighshire are looking to appoint an ACA / ACCA finalist or qualified accountant to join their team as an Audit & Accounts Senior. This position has arisen due to internal movements and offers the opportunity to join a friendly accountancy firm in a varied role.

Your new job
As an Audit & Accounts Senior you will be responsible for the preparation of year end financial statements for a range of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies along with the relevant corporation tax computations. You will also spend around 30% of your time leading a range of statutory and non statutory audit assignments with involvement in all stages of the process from planning through to completion. In this role you will be very client facing and gain exposure to a wide ranging selection of clients. Over time there is the opportunity to gain more supervisory skills and start to manage a portfolio of clients.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking to appoint a practice trained accountant who is competent in preparing full statutory accounts for a range of businesses. You will ideally be ACA / ACCA qualified or able to operate at a similar level. This job will ideally involve an element of audit work so any prior audit experience would be preferable. The firm are looking for a personable accountant who can work autonomously and interact well with clients, maintaining and developing strong client relationships.
