Your new role
As the FP&A Manager, you will play a vital role in the central finance team, reporting to the Head of FP&A. You will have one direct report, and your responsibilities will include:
- Reporting and analysing monthly business performance
- Conducting quarterly reporting and analysis, including quarterly forecasts.
- Preparing quarterly reporting presentation packs, presenting key insights to senior stakeholders
- Managing a quarterly forecast and annual budget process.
- Assisting with the preparation and reporting of the monthly Sector management accounts.
- Support the month end close process working with regional finance teams.
- Continuingly improving reporting and adopting new group tools and processes.
- Collaborating closely with regional finance teams to gain insights into business performance.
- Working with corporate finance teams to meet reporting requirements.
- Undertaking additional ad hoc reporting and project work as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience in FP&A or financial analysis roles, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex data.
- Advanced proficiency in financial planning tools and systems (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial information to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in team management and development.

In return for your contributions, you will receive a competitive salary ranging from £65,000 to £75,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
