IFRS Accountant


Your new company
A global real estate services company with presence across Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Africa. This is a FTSE listed company with head offices in London. Your role will be working for a large, growing region of the business within their growing finance department as a Technical Projects Accountant.

Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a technical role which will focus on improving accounting practices across a large region. You will partner with the central finance team as well as local teams to improve reporting. You will work to ensure the balance sheet is robust and reconciled, align accounting policies and improve the consolidation process. You will lead on IFRS changes and updates and work to ensure the team receive the upskilling required on technical areas. This role will also require you to write technical papers.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have recent experience of IFRS, multi-currency consolidations, balance sheet control, influencing stakeholders and making progress with improving reporting. You will be a Qualified Accountant, ideally ACA or ACCA qualified. Experience within the Real Estate and or Professional Services sector would be advantageous but not essential.
